The Peace Messengers

The musical group „The Peace Messengers“ was founded in 1991 in southern Khartoum within the „Society for Theatre and Music“. Thus many of the band members are also members of this society and some of them are members of the „Sudanese General Union for Music Professions“- Omdurman/Sudan as well. Omer Ihsas works out all of his songs with the band and they accompany him by his appearances in foreign countries as well as in their homeland, the Sudan. However, all of the musicians and dancers are not always present at every concert. The variations in the composition of the musicians and their instruments, combined with dance makes each performance a unique experience.
